WATERBURY- It is with heavy hearts that the family of Yolanda Lampron, age 77, of Waterbury shares the news of her peaceful passing on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Waterbury Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, after an extended illness.

Yolanda was born on September 9, 1948, in Waterbury, Connecticut, the daughter of the late Robert Lampron and Frances (Dery) Shimkevich. She attended local schools and then worked for the City of Waterbury in the Department of Education as a secretary for over 50 years. A lover of cooking shows, Yolanda found joy in exploring new recipes and sharing delicious meals with her loved ones. She also enjoyed the thrill of visiting Foxwoods Casino, where laughter and good times were always on the agenda. Her happiest moments were spent with her beloved daughter, her family, and her friends, whom she shared countless cherished memories with. She was a woman of great warmth, always putting others' needs before her own. Her nurturing spirit touched the lives of many, and she will be remembered for her unwavering support and compassion.

Yoly Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory are her daughter, Michelle Perillo; her best friend of 60 years, Jenette Talbot; her adopted granddaughter, Alycia Talbot; and her best friend's sons, Kevin and Gary Talbot. Yolanda leaves her siblings, Robert Lampron, Jackie (Terry) Garner, Roseann Behr, and Paul Lampron, and her goddaughter, Charishma (Jim) Smith, along with nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Funeral services for Ms. Lampron will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 West Main Street, Waterbury. All those attending are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of her family.
