WATERBURY - Affectionately known as "Boogie," William Robinson transitioned peacefully on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
William was born on July 20, 1953, in Jetersville, Virginia, to William and Katherine Price Robinson. He received his formal education in the Waterbury Public School System. William enlisted in the United States Marines Corps and was later honorably discharged. He was gainfully employed throughout his life, retiring from Blue Bird Body Company, Inc. in Fort Valley, Georgia. He was a skilled Carpet Installer.
He was the husband of the late Mildred Troutman Robinson and currently the husband of Audrey Williams Robinson. In addition to his wife, his legacy is cherished by his children: Arish Pascale (Benjamin) Ford of Georgia, Riss Cameron (Devin) Robinson of Maryland, and Balen Riggins of Connecticut; three grandchildren: Jadence, Brysin, and Arranni. Several siblings: Erva Randolph, Nelcie Little, Lois (Willie) Jordan, Edith Robinson (Nate Booker), Moses Robinson, Cathy Robinson, Maxine Baptist, and Clarence Rhodes; a beloved aunt, Daisy Johnson of Virginia. Legions of in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and devoted friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Robinson will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 11:00 a.m at Casey's Eastside Memorial, 1987 East Main Street, Waterbury. Burial with full military honors will follow in the CT State Veteran's Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown.
