Mr. Vernon L. Kinch

WATERBURY- It is with profound sadness that the family of Vernon Lloyd Kinch, age 61, of Waterbury, formerly of Fall River, Massachusetts, shares the news of his peaceful passing at the Vitas Inpatient Unit of St Mary’s Hospital. He was the husband of Makisha Bailey.

Vernon was born on May 28, 1964, in Waterbury, CT, the son of the late Vernon Nelson Kinch and Berthaleice Ingram Rieley. He graduated from Wilby High School and will be remembered as a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Regal Care in Waterbury and Brandon Woods of Dartmouth, MA. His character was defined by his devotion to his work and the genuine care he provided for those in need. Residing primarily in Waterbury, Vernon eventually moved to Fall River, Massachusetts, where he created a warm and loving home with his beloved wife, Makisha Kinch. He was a remarkable provider and was known for his unwavering commitment to his family, particularly his children and grandchildren, whom he cherished deeply. He found joy in playing chess, dancing to his favorite music, cooking family meals, fishing and he was an avid New England Patriots fan. His legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty will continue to shine brightly through the memories he created with devoted friends and family. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory besides his wife of many years, Makisha and his children, Denissa B. Marshall of NC, Davon Berger of Waterbury, and Victor Kinch of MA, his inseparable twin brother, Victor Kinch and his wife Tatia of Waterbury, his other siblings; Darlene Kinch of N.J., Verna Maria Foster of Waterbury, Lillian Denise (Edwards) Saunders of Waterbury, Charlene Wornum of MA and Maria Kinch of MA and his step-children Kenny Bailey, Rahquan Bailey and Zion Williams. He also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, his aunt and uncle Harriette and Troy Sherffield of Waterbury, many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. He is also predeceased by his sisters; Andrea Simpkins and Noel Lisa Kinch, his brother in laws Walter Foster and Terrence “Bertie” Saunders, his niece Danaya Leonna Foster and his grandparents Harrison and Francis Ingram and his paternal grandmother Grace Kinch.
