Mr. Thomas Duncan Taylor Sr.

WATERBURY – Thomas Duncan Taylor Sr., age 85, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Saint Mary’s Hospital after a long illness surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Margaret (Harris) Taylor.


Thomas was born on November 17, 1938 in Waterbury to the late John and Mary (Duncan) Taylor. He was a graduated of Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury, went on to serve our country in the National Guard. Tom was a hard worker, and loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to know and love him.


Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory besides his wife Margaret, are his two children, Lisa Geiger (David) of Panama City, Florida and Thomas Taylor (Carrie) of Wallingford, his grandchildren Alan (Jaime) Taylor, Jeffrey (Jessica) Bouet, Samantha Moore, Ryan Taylor and Allie Taylor, and a great grandson, Asher Bouet. Along with extended family and friends. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his two brothers, Robert and John.

Funeral services for Mr. Taylor will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home, 1987 East Main St., Waterbury. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Relatives and friends may visit with the Taylor family on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m.at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests the donations be made in Thomas name to Mary Mother of the Church Parish, 67 Southmayd Road, Waterbury, CT.
