BEACON FALLS – It is with profound sadness that the family of Thomas Knox Jr., age 52, shares the news of his passing on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, after a long battle with cancer. He was the beloved partner of Karen Cuapio for 14 years.

Thomas was born on December 3, 1973, in Waterbury, Connecticut, the son of the late Thomas and Joann (Pesce) Knox Sr. A certified mechanic for more than 20 years, Tom had a lifelong passion for automobiles and car audio systems. Known among family and friends as a true bass enthusiast, he enjoyed building powerful sound systems and helping others with their vehicles whenever he could.Outside of work, Tom enjoyed collecting and restoring Mongoose bicycles, taking great pride in transforming them into something special. He loved fishing, spending time outdoors, and creating lasting memories riding bikes with his granddaughter, Giana, and his nephew, Angel. Those who knew Tom knew him as an honest, trustworthy, and genuinely good man. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer advice, or simply be there when someone needed him. Tom touched the lives of many through his kindness, loyalty, and generosity and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In addition to his beloved partner, Karen, Tom leaves behind his daughter, Leah Knox; his best friend, Anthony DiLonardo Jr., whom he considered a brother; his stepson, Antonio Cuapio Zollo; and his granddaughters, Giana and Isabella Quinones. He is also survived by his sister, Lisa Knox; his nephew, Angel Figueroa; his niece, Angie Figueroa; as well as extended family and many friends. Tom was predeceased by his stepdaughter, Kaylana Zollo.

Funeral services for Mr. Knox will be held privately at the convenience of his family. Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main Street, Waterbury, Connecticut, has been honored to care for and support Thomas’s family during this difficult time.
