WATERBURY - It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Mr. Thomas M. Fiore age 66 of Waterbury, shares the news of his peaceful passing on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in the comfort of his home after an extended illness.

Thomas was born September 17, 1966 in Waterbury, the son of the late Salvatore P. and Mary (Lanese) Fiore. He was a lifelong resident of Waterbury and was a graduate of Wilby High School. Tom worked for many years as a mechanic in his family’s business, Tuckers Garage of Waterbury. He was a man of many talents and enjoyed painting, drawing, caring for his many animals, and especially enjoyed his many coffee breaks at his favorite Dunkin' Donuts. Tom will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to know and love him. His family and friends would like to acknowledge and thank Kim, Jessie, Shannon, Katie, Andrea, Steve, Mercey, and her husband for all of their support and help caring for Tom, especially over these last few months of his illness. Special thanks to his hospice nurses, Liz and Iris and his former nurse, Aaron.

Tom leaves to mourn his loss his dear family friend and caregiver of over 18 years, Mary Book of Naugatuck. He was predeceased by his uncle, Domenic Lanese and his godmother, Claire Verrastro. He also remembers his two favorite fur babies, Benjamin and Lilly.

Graveside service for Mr Fiore will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 12 noon at Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury 2324 E Main St, Waterbury, CT 06705 .
