Obituary

WATERBURY- It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that the family of Terrance T. Mulhall, age 86, of Waterbury, share the news of his unexpected passing on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Saint Mary’s Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Mary Ann (Petro) Mulhall.

Terry was born in Waterbury, Connecticut on August 27, 1939, the son of the late Terrance T. Mulhall and Mary E. (Millerick) Mulhall. A lifelong resident of Waterbury, he dedicated his life to his family and community, embodying a spirit of generosity and kindness that touched everyone he met. After graduating from Kaynor Technical School in Waterbury from the Carpentry Department in 1957, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy before embarking on a fulfilling career at Les-Care Kitchens in Waterbury. As the manufacturing plant leader, he used his master carpentry skills to play a vital role in the success of the organization for over 50 years. In addition to his hard work and dedication, it was his vibrant personality and infectious sense of humor that left lasting memories on all of his colleagues and friends. He was the very best of humanity. Always happy, joking around, making everyone laugh, and keeping a positive outlook on everything. He cherished his role as a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather the most, and his family was the cornerstone of his life. His favorite moments were often spent watching his loved ones play sports, watching the New York Yankees, and enjoying memorable vacations with his family. He also enjoyed his regular trips to the casino, playing cards, and his wife’s cooking. He especially loved his wife’s Italian dishes, ice cream, and apple pie. Terry will be deeply missed, but his warmth, kindness, generosity, and selflessness will be forever remembered by all who were blessed to know and love him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched.

Besides his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Ann, left to cherish and honor his memories are his children; Terrance Mulhall and his wife Theresa of Wolcott, Christopher M. Mulhall and his wife Andrea of Woodinville, WA, his grandchildren; Christopher Mulhall and his wife Tricia of Southington, Nicole Mulhall and her fiancé Chuck Driscoll of Rocky Hill, Alexis Mulhall of Wolcott, Emma Mulhall of Newington, and Bradley and Cameron Mulhall of Woodinville, WA.
