Teresa M. Sparano Cecere ?" age 93, of Midfield Drive Waterbury, died peacefully Monday, December 10th at Abbott Terrace Health Care center in Waterbury after an extended illness. She was the widow of the Anthony Sparano and Domenic Cecere.
Mrs. Cecere was born March 7th 1914 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late
Carmine & Pasquline (Cipriano) Ciriello. She was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Teresa was a member of the South End Senior Center and a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
Among her survivors are her son, Donald Sparano of Waterbury, her daughter Joan Sparano of Waterbury; a sister Ida Kloc of South Carolina, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Martin, and her sisters, Mary, Lorraine, Louise, & Peggy.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cecere will be held Thursday December 13th at 8:30a.m. from the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home 1581 E. Main St Waterbury to Our Lady of Lourdes Church 309 S. Main St Waterbury for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
