WATERBURY- It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Mrs. Rosario Camacho Gonzalez, age 96, of Waterbury, shares the news of her peaceful passing on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at Waterbury Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Antonio Array.

Rosario was born in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico, on January 8, 1930, the daughter of the late Antonio Camacho and Dolores Gonzales. She lived most of her life in Puerto Rico until making Waterbury her home in 1982. She dedicated her life to being a devoted homemaker, nurturing her family with love and warmth. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, playing bingo, and trying her luck at the lotto. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, to whom she gave unwavering love and attention.

Rosario's warmth, love, and spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love she so freely gave.

Left to honor and cherish her memory are her children, Luis Array of Waterbury and Bethzaida Array of Puerto Rico, as well as her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other extended family members and beloved friends. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Juan Array, who had passed away earlier this year.

Funeral services for Mrs. Camacho Gonzalez will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. from Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main St, Waterbury, CT, to All Saints’ Todos Los Santos Parish, The Shrine of Saint Anne, 515 S Main St, Waterbury, CT to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury. Relatives and friends may pay their respects and visit with Rosario’s family on Thursday morning from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
