WATERBURY - It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Miss Rosa “Milita” Pagan, age 50, of Waterbury, shares the news of her peaceful passing on Friday, May 08, 2026, at Waterbury Hospital.

Rosa was born on July 1, 1975, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Carlos Rafael Pagan and Milagros Rivera. She was a graduate of Wilby High School. Rosa was known for her radiant spirit and her passion for life. She enjoyed coloring, playing with dolls, and was an avid fan of classic cartoons, with “Tom and Jerry” holding a special place in her heart. Her love for cats brought joy to her everyday life, and she found comfort in listening to the soulful music of Yolanda Monge, often dancing to her uplifting melodies. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family and friends, who were the center of her life.

Left to honor and cherish her memory are her siblings: Carolina Pagan, Carlos E. Pagan, Rosa M. Pagan, Carlos A. Pagan, Joan Pagan, and Carlos G. Pagan, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She was predeceased by her two siblings, Carlos R. Pagan and Alba Milagros Pagan.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Rosa's caregiver, Isuanette Aquino, for her compassionate care and unwavering support over the past 27 years.

A Memorial Gathering for Miss Pagan will be held on Friday, May 15th, 2026, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main Street, Waterbury. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of her family.
