WATERBURY- Roger Hagberg, age 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, January 3, 2026 at the Village of East Farms in Waterbury. He was the widower of Mrs. Rhoda G. Hagberg who passed away in April 2025.They had been married 48 years.
Roger was born on July 25, 1944, in Bridgeport, CT; the beloved son of Ms. Muriel Hagberg. He moved to Waterbury soon after he married Rhoda, who was the love of his life. Together, they shared countless joyful memories, traveling all over Europe and the US. They enjoyed cruises to the Caribbean and numerous trips to Cape Cod, a place that held a special place in their hearts. He was a proud employee of the U.S. Postal Service, in Prospect, Waterbury and Wolcott. Roger had a vast music collection and always had something playing in the background. He knew words to all the songs. His red corvette was his other joy and both he and Rhoda enjoyed many a ride with the top down.
Roger was a kind generous being and just wanted to bring a smile to everyone’s face. Most of all he loved Rhoda to the moon and back. He will be missed by many especially those he made smile. Roger leaves behind Ranbir and many close friends.
