Beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother
WATERBURY – Roberta Pavlinsky age 71, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, June 22nd, 2023. She was the wife of Walter Pavlinsky III.
Roberta was born February 17th, 1952, in Danbury CT, the daughter of the late Robert and Josephine (Germinaro) Yarrish. She was a graduate of Danbury High School and spent many years working as a CNA for various health care facilities throughout the area, retiring from Abbott Terrace Health Care. Roberta had a great love for cats and loved to spend time in her yard gardening. Roberta also loved to travel to Hawaii with her husband Walter. Roberta was exceptional in almost every way but she excelled the most at being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory, besides her husband, Walter of 50 years, she leaves her children; Brian Pavlinsky and his wife, Lori of Poughquag, NY; James Pavlinsky and his partner, Nancy of Southington and Jennifer Purdie and her husband, Lenny of Torrington. She also leaves her brother, Louis Yarrish of Ridgefield, and sisters, Wendy Holomakoff of Bethel, and Doreen Pennella of Thomaston. Roberta and Walter were blessed with 2 grandchildren; Joshua and Olivia as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister, Becky Schuyler.
Funeral services for Mrs. Pavlinksy will be held privately and at the convenience of her family.
