WATERBURY- It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Robert F. Morales, age 57, of Waterbury, shares the news of his unexpected passing on Monday, April 6, 2026, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Evelyn (Soto) Morales.

Robert was born on August 4, 1968, in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, the beloved son of Carmen Ramirez Toro and the late Manuel Morales. His journey took a new adventure when he moved to Waterbury in 1996, where he found love and companionship with his wife Evelyn Morales. He was known for his warm heart and generous spirit, he dedicated many years to working in the laundry department of a textile company as well as invarious factories in the area. After a disabling injury in 2005, he faced challenges with remarkable courage.

Robert enjoyed cooking and entertaining friends and family in his home. A proud family man, he relished the opportunity to travel back to Puerto Rico, often making the journey four times a year to reconnect with his loved ones. He found great joy in simple pleasures, enjoying movies and TV shows, eating sweets and he was an avid fan of the New England Patriots. He loved his family more than anything, especially his dogs Brandon, Louis and Andy, his grand dog Tum- Tum and his cat Nico.

Left to honor and cherish his memory, besides his loving wife of 28 years, are his children; Raquel Rodriguez and her husband Asif of Waterbury, Stephanie Melendez and her husband James of Waterbury and Mark Anthony Rodriguez of New Haven, his grandchildren Leniecia, Justin, Jaralyn and Jovanni and his great- grandchildren Jeremiah, Chosen and Kovu. He also leaves behind his siblings; Damaris Morales Ramirez and Manuel Morales, both of Puerto Rico, his grandmother Paula Toro of Puerto Rico and other extended family members and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Morales will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main Street, Waterbury. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of his family. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects and visit with his family on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until the service commences at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
