"Raised three wonderful children"

WOLCOTT - Richard P Kreidel III age 49 of Wolcott, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and comfort of his family at home on Saturday October 2, 2021.

Richard was born August 25, 1972 in Waterbury, the son of Richard P Kreidel Jr of Terryville and the late Barbara (Breen) Kreidel. He graduated from Wolcott High School and was the owner and proprietor of LetterKenny Inc. Richard loved music was an accomplished drummer and could be found singing in any number of places. He enjoyed camping with his family during his early years and he possessed a dry for wonderful sense of humor. He was a video enthusiast, loved trips to amusement parks and Comi-Con and loved animals. What was most important to Richard was his accomplishment of raising three wonderful children; his son, Nick, and niece and nephew, Joe and Chloe.

Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory besides his father and his father's wife, Shirley of Terryville are his son, Nicholas of Wolcott, siblings; Deborah Lane of Waterbury, Elizabeth (Michael) Gorman of Prospect, Edward Lane and Carolyn Fraser both of Waterbury. He also leaves several nieces and nephews but most especially the two he helped raise, Joseph Kreidel of Wolcott and Chloe VanLierop of Waterbury. He was predeceased by his sister, Karen Kreidel.

Funeral Services for Mr. Kreidel will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd. Waterbury, CT 06705. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with Richard's family on Thursday evening from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. We continue to remain concerned about the ongoing pandemic so masks will be required during all indoor services whether you are vaccinated or not.
