It is with a heavy heart that we announce the departure on the morning of July 13, 2023, to the arms of our heavenly father of our beloved Reina. She will be forever remembered as a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and extraordinary woman.
Born in the Dominican Republic on June 3, 1942, Reina was an exemplary representation for all who had the blessing of knowing her of what it meant to live life with courage, determination, and perseverance. She grew up surrounded by a large family including her parents and six siblings. Reina was the first daughter amongst her siblings and prided herself in being as tough as the boys. Her courageous spirit allowed her to immigrate to the United States in search of a better future for her children. She loved spending time surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and family at large creating countless irreplaceable memories. In her free time, Reina dedicated hours to her luscious garden, countless shopping sprees, and her passion for antique home decorating. Reina lived her life fearlessly and brought joy and laughter to those around her. She is survived by her three children: Luis Miguel, Daisy, and Ana as well as her eight grandchildren: Miguel Angel, Denisse, Nickolle, Gabriella, Miguel Antonio, Reinaldo, Samuel, and Moises, siblings, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
