Philip was born on November 11, 1947, in Waterbury, CT, the son of the late Sebastian and Viola (Komlose) Muzzicato. Philip led a life filled with service, passion, and camaraderie. He proudly served his country with the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge, he dedicated his talents to family, working in Muzzy Paints, the family paint store on East Main Street in Waterbury, where he was known for his warmth and connection to the community. Philip later took on the role of foreman and groundskeeper for the Watertown Parks and Recreation Department, where he nurtured the beauty of local parks and gardens, always with a smile and a wave to those he met.
A true community man, Philip was a proud member of the Oakville VFW, where he shared countless laughs and stories with friends. An avid car enthusiast, he delighted in caring for his cherished Camaro, often seen cruising through town. Philip treasured his weekly card games at Horatio's and held a deep appreciation for his neighbors, who became like family, always looking out for one another. As we gather to remember Philip, let us celebrate the beautiful moments and the rich memories he has left behind. May we continue to carry forward his spirit of generosity and community. Left to cherish his memory and honor his legacy are his daughter Monique Palardy and her husband Thomas of Wolcott, his brother Arthur Muzzicato of Fl, his former wife Marilynn (Prenez) Muzzicato and his grandson Michael Najarian as well as several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and many friends.
