Peter Marie Antonius Mommers passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025 at the age of 86.

Peter was an altruistic man, dedicated to his family and friends. He was the best Opa any grandchild could have. He was a true champion of the arts and conservation, donating whenever he could. Peter immigrated from The Netherlands in 1962 and spent most of his life in New York City. He became a U.S. citizen in 1998 and was so proud that day. His infectious smile, and kind-hearted humor delighted all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
