IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Peter
Favale
May 29, 1944 – December 4, 2025
WOLCOTT- It is with profound sadness that the family of Peter M. Favale, age 81, of Wolcott, shares the news of his peaceful passing in the comfort of his home, surrounded by the love and care of his family, on Thursday, December 4th, 2025. He was the husband of Edna (Sherman) Favale.
Peter was born on May 29, 1944, in Waterbury, the son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Cilfone) Favale. Peter lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. He proudly served his country as a medic in the Connecticut National Guard, a testament to his caring spirit and dedication to helping others. He spent an impressive 38 years as a heavy equipment operator and supervisor for the former Connecticut Light and Power (CL&P), where he was respected for his skill and strong work ethic. Beyond his career, Peter embraced life with enthusiasm. He found joy in the great outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, or attending car cruises across the state. A true cowboy at heart, he loved winding down with old cowboy and western movies. Peter’s greatest pride and joy came from being a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His family was his world and he lived a life as bold and vibrant as his spirit and he leaves behind a legacy of love adventure and unforgettable memories. In honoring Peter’s memory, let us remember the laughter, love, and the indelible mark he left on our hearts. Rest easy, now Peter, you will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory besides his wife of 52 years, Edna, are his son, James Briglia and his wife Diane of Myrtle Beach, his granddaughter, Ashley and her husband Zach Keith, and his great-grandson, Alton Keith and his brother in law Edward Sherman. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and many friends. A special note of thanks to his nephew, John Solury. Peter was predeceased by his siblings; Joseph Favale and Rosemary Solury.
