Devoted wife, mom and grandmother
WEST HARTFORD - Patricia Gunnoud age 88, formerly of Naugatuck and Watertown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 5th 2021 at the West Hartford Health & Rehabilitation Center surrounded by the love and comfort of her family after an extended illness. She was the beloved widow of John "Jack" Gunnoud.
Patricia was born August 5th 1933 in Naugatuck, CT the daughter of the late Robert and Stella (Geruch) Troland. A graduate of Naugatuck High School, Pat was a loving and dedicated; daughter, wife, mom and grandmother who always enjoyed being in the company of her large family. She was a homemaker who enjoyed reading and Pat was a long time parishioner of Saint Francis of Assisi's Church in Naugatuck. Pat will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory are her children; John Gunnoud, Jr. and his wife, Carol, David Gunnoud and his wife, Shirl, Pamela O'Keefe and her husband, Jack, and Timothy Gunnoud. She also leaves her grandchildren; Kristen Gunnoud, Lauren Hayes, Stephanie (Ray) Savoy, Brian (Stephanie) Gunnoud, Rachael Gunnoud, Jason (Yadira) Driscoll, Meghan Driscoll, Timothy Gunnoud, Jr., Nathan Gunnoud and Caroline Gunnoud as well as her great grandchildren: Shaiann, Cain, Kayla, Cora, Peyton, Olivia and Hudson.
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Gunnoud will be Saturday, December 18, 2021 with calling hours from 9:30-10:30 at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury CT. Burial will be private in the family plot in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. To honor Pat's memory, donations to the Alzheimer's Association at www.act.alz.org in Pat's name would be greatly appreciated by her family.
