CHESHIRE- It is with profound sadness that the family of Pamela (Carkner) Elbakhar, age 57, of Cheshire, shares the news of her peaceful passing at Bridgeport Hospital on Wednesday, December 03, 2025, surrounded by those she loved.

Pamela was born on August 20, 1968, in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Robert Carkner and Ruth (Bartholomew) Konovaluk. She attended local schools and worked for many years as a home health aide. To those who knew her, Pamela was destined to be a mother and caregiver, embracing her roles with love and special devotion. Her interests reflected the vibrant and joyful soul she had. She had a passion for reading, enjoyed creating beautiful diamond art, and held a deep spirituality that was often expressed through her love for angels. A big fan of Elvis Presley, she cherished his music, and her favorite color, purple, mirrored her vibrant personality, complemented by her affinity for sunflowers, which brought her joy and warmth.

Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory are her children, Lexy Gelinas and her fiancé, Nathan Mangual; Envyona Brown; Mark Gelinas and his fiancé, Cassandra; and her beloved grandchildren, Hailey Gelinas, Jenessa Pickett, and Maxine Gelinas. She also leaves her sisters, Robin Gonzalez, Heather Dube, and Marilyn Inoncillo, along with several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
