Novlette was born in Beecher Town, Jamaica on September 5, 1955, the daughter of the late Enos and Esmin (Llewellyn) James. She spent most of her years in Jamaica, where she nurtured a loving family and built a foundation of warmth and care that would follow her throughout her life. In 2012, she embraced a new chapter by immigrating to Waterbury, CT, where she continued to cultivate her passions and create cherished memories with her loved ones. A devoted homemaker, she expressed her love through her baking, cooking, planting flowers especially roses and sewing, with a special enjoyment for visiting Jamaica to connect with family and relax on the beautiful beaches there. She faced many health challenges with unwavering courage and resilience, exemplifying a strength that inspired those around her. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, particularly her husband and her children.
