Mrs. Noris Quintana

WATERBURY - Mrs. Noris H. (Lisboa) Quintana, 76 of Waterbury, CT passed away at in the comfort of her home surrounded by her adoring family on 5/19/2025 after a brief illness.

Noris, born 8/6/1948 in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico daughter of the late Marciano Lisboa & Carmen Cabrera, attended Puerto Rico schools until meeting the love of her life. Noris's profound love for her children and grandchildren were like no other. Her legacy lives on and her memory will be kept alive and forever a part of us as we move forward. Noris worked at ITW Plastiglide Mfg for 30 years before her retirement in 2010. She was an active member of the Waterbury Senior Center where she and Dad enjoyed many years post retirement. A longtime member of Saint Margaret’s Church & All Saint’s Todos Los Santos. A sincere thanks to Mira Levasseur and her team for their leadership. Mom always looked forward to casino trips & activities. In addition, our most sincere thanks to Dr Pun & Cori for front line/first hand care of Mom over the years. An intimate, heartfelt thank you to bonus daughters Veronica & Mara who loved Mom like their own & vice versa.

Noris is survived by her husband of 59 years Pedro, her children Daisy Mendez, Evelyn Quintana, Pedro Quintana Jr (Michelle), & Cynthia Ortiz (Jason). Grandchildren Christian Mendez; Adam, Gabriel & Madison Quintana, Jacob Ibanez; Olivia, Delilah & Victoria Ortiz, a host of nephews, nieces and in laws. Noris is survived by her siblings; Carmen, Edwin and Aurea Lisboa of Quebradillas Puerto Rico, Angel Lisboa of Rochester New York and Jose Lisboa of Springfield Massachusetts. She was predeceased by her brother, Severiano Lisboa.

Funeral services for Mrs. Quintana will be held on Friday May 23, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Shrine of St Anne, All Saints-Todos Los Santos Parish South Main St Waterbury. Those planning to attend are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects and visit with the family on Thursday May 22, 2025 from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care 1987 East Main St Waterbury CT 06705.
