Obituary

WATERBURY — It is with profound sadness that the family of Mr. Nathaniel Rogers, age 56, of Waterbury, say farewell for now to our beloved brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, following his peaceful passing at Saint Mary’s Hospital on Wednesday, October 28th, 2026.

Nathaniel was born on January 24th, 1970, in Waterbury, the son of the late David Johnson and Jean Rogers. Nathaniel had an adventurous spirit, finding joy in the great outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing, relishing the tranquility these activities brought him. Music filled his life with joy, and he loved gathering with family, sharing laughs and memories over hearty meals. A car enthusiast, he found delight in the freedom of driving, and in his younger years, enjoyed working out and swimming.

Nathaniel will be dearly missed, but his legacy of kindness and joy will forever resonate in the hearts of many.

Left to honor and cherish his memory are his siblings; Darrel Johnson, Davy Johnson, Annette Rogers, Renee Rogers, and Delton Rogers and his wife Keshia. Nathaniel also leaves behind a host of many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends. Beside his parents, Nathaniel was predeceased by his brother, David Rogers.
