Mrs. Maryann Marino

ENFIELD It is with profound sadness that the family of Maryann (Denzio) Marino of Enfield, formerly of Waterbury, shares the news of her passing on September 10, 2025. She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph J. Marino her husband of 35 years.

Mrs. Marino was born on August 4, 1948, in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Leonard and Angelina (Divergilio) Denzio. She was educated in local schools and worked for many years as a bank teller and customer service representative at TD Bank. While MaryAnn had many interests, including her many trips to New York City and Martha’s Vineyard but most of her time and attention were spent with family. Her family grew up watching my mother face every challenge life could have thrown at her. We are sure that there were nights that she cried herself to sleep, but every morning she rose to give her all to raise us. We don’t know how to be weak because we were raised by the strongest woman we know. Maryann was exceptional in almost every way but she excelled the most at being a devoted wife, mother sister and grandmother. May she now rest in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior .

Left to honor her memory are her sons; Joseph of East Haven CT, Scott and his wife Marlene of Waterbury and Todd of Enfield, and her sister, Lenora Becce of Thomaston as well as 9 adoring grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Maryann was predeceased by her son, Bryan.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main St Waterbury CT 06705. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
