WATERBURY – It is with profound sorrow and broken hearts that the family of Michael Wayne Sebastian, age 51, of Waterbury, announce his passing on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at his home surrounded by his beloved dogs.
Michael was born May 2, 1972, in Waterbury CT, the son of the late Elaine Joy Dean and Michael E. Sebastian. He attended local schools and went on to work as a talented roofer. He had a love for dogs, enjoyed any kind of physical activity, especially being outdoors, and he loved all sweets especially cookies and hot chocolate. Michael also enjoyed watching sports and NASCAR. What brought the greatest joy to Michael was spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He loved playing cards with them and teaching them new tricks. He will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to know and love him.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory are his father, Michael E Sebastian, and stepmother, Carmie Sebastian, of Cape Coral Florida, his three sisters, Leslie Sebastian of Waterbury, Sara Bookout of Watertown,and Christa Sebastian of Newington, his brother, John Sebastian of Southington, his two loving aunts, a uncle as well as several nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by his mother, Elaine Joy Dean of Watertown, CT.
Michael will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Funeral Services for Mr. Sebastian will be held privately at the convenience of his family.
