WEST HAVEN- It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Michael F. Jasuirkowski, age 73, of West Haven, shares the news of his unexpected passing on Friday, April 17, 2026 at home.

Michael was born November 6, 1952 in New Haven, the son of the late Francis and Sophie (Golebiewski) Jasuirkowski. He graduated from Quinnipiac University, earning his bachelor’s degree and embarking on a fulfilling career as a property manager. He was an avid reader and loved listening to his short-wave radio, which catered to his curiosity and love of learning. A true New Englander at heart, Michael found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He could often be seen riding his bike along the beautiful shoreline of West Haven, where he had made his home for over 20 years. Michael was deeply passionate about Boston sports, especially the Boston Red Sox. He lived for game days and cherished every moment spent cheering on his teams, often accompanied by family and friends. He will be deeply missed by his family and those who know him.

Left to cherish and honor his memory are his loving nieces and nephews: Nicholas (Amy) Apuzzo, David Apuzzo, Sheryl (Andrew) Schieffer, and Suzanne Apuzzo. He is also survived by several grandnieces and grandnephews: Hayley, Ryan, Chloe, and Jackson and other extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Nancy Apuzzo.

All services for Mr. Jasuirkowski will be held privately at the convenience of his family.
