Mr. Mathew C. Christiano

MIDDLEBURY - It is with great sadness and broken hearts that the family of Mathew C. Christiano age 22 of Beacon Falls announce his unexpected passing on Saturday, May 11, 2024. He was the son of Steven and Suzanne (Martin Christiano.

Mathew was born April 8, 2002, in Waterbury, CT, the son of Steven and Suzanne (Martin) Christiano.  He graduated from Woodlands Beacon Falls Regional High School and planned to pursue a career in Public Safety as a Police Officer.  He was currently working as a security officer at Bridgeport Hospital.  Mat liked to travel and play video games and was a NY Giants and Yankees fan.   Mat would frequently post reviews on his social media account as he toured the country, rating hot dogs and evaluating the restaurants where they were served.  Mathew enjoyed listening to music and dancing; he lived life to the fullest and always lit up the room with his infectious smile, and personality, whenever he walked in.  He was always happy while he was surrounded by the love and comfort of his family and friends, who will greatly miss him.      

Left to cherish his memory and honor his legacy besides his parents, are his siblings; Angel Christiano of Naugatuck, Cody Christiano of Middlebury, and Samantha Christiano of Middlebury. He also leaves his aunt, Lori Inzitari of Beacon Falls, and grandmother, Theresa Martin of Waterbury, as well as several cousins who were like siblings to him and other extended family and many friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Christiano will be held on Thursday May 16, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Michael R.C. Church 25 Maple Ave Beacon Falls. Those planning to attend are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Waterbury.
