AT THE O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME ?" Luther F. Kilmer Jr. age 55 of Platt Street, Waterbury died February 20, 2009 at Saint Mary's Hospital.

Luther was born October 13, 1953 in Waterbury, a son of Luther F. Kilmer Sr. and the late Betty (Washburn) Kilmer and lived in Waterbury for the past 30 years. He was a graduate of Watertown High School. Luther was a self-employed handyman who loved to cook, read, play cards and darts and loved to spend time with his children. He was a member of the Aviglianese Club.

Besides his father of Oakville, he leaves two sons Paul S. and Luther F. III both of Plainville, two sisters Viola Whitmore of Canaan, ME., April Anderson of Auburndale, FL., two stepbrothers Robert Syman of Waterbury and Mark Gillotti of Cheshire.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday February 25 at 11 a.m. at the O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main Street, Oakville. Inurnment will follow in the Woodward Mattoon Chapel in Evergreen Cemetery.
