She graduated from St. Anne Grammar School, Waterbury Catholic High School and The Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School in Boston. In spite of her petite size, she was tough and courageous in her long battle with cancer and was a member of the Brave at Heart Breast Cancer Organization. She genuinely enjoyed a life well lived, deservedly so and was able to travel the world. She was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Anthony's Church in Prospect.

Lucille will also be deeply missed by her siter-in-law Barbara and husband John DeLuca of Hawinton, several nieces and nephews and her long-time best friend, Ginny O'Rourke.
