Devoted to her family

WATERBURY – It is with great sadness and broken hearts that the family of Louise Cossette, age 60, of Waterbury, announce her unexpected passing on Friday, March 1st, 2024, at her home.

Louise was born June 9th, 1963, in Torrington, CT, the daughter of the late Patricia Pulver and stepdaughter to Norton Ives. Louise was raised in Waterbury and devoted her years to being the life of the party. She enjoyed puzzles, had a fascination for tigers, and enjoyed playing Yahtzee and cards, especially with her grandchildren. She was also a talented pool player. Louise loved to dance and was known as a social butterfly. The happiest times in Louise’s life were those spent with her grandchildren and family. She will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.

Left to honor her memory and cherish her legacy are her children; Anthony Richard and his fiancé, Kylie Standish, of NY, Joshua Macomber of Riverton, CT, Rebecca Martinez and her husband, Jason, of Waterbury, Jaime Cossette and her partner, Jerome Burke, of Waterbury, Sara Landry and her husband, Dean, of S. Windsor, CT and Breanna Macomber and her Fiancé, Colin Dwyer, of Riverton, CT. She also leaves her siblings Randolph Ruzbasan of Waterbury, Barry Ives and his wife, Connie, of TX , 8 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, as well as other extended family members.

A Memorial Gathering for Mrs. Cossette will be held on Friday, March 8th, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main Street, Waterbury, CT 06705. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of her family. Loving-kindness is always welcome, and it only takes a moment to offer a message of condolence or words of comfort or share a memory of someone important to you with the family and friends.
