Obituary

BETHLEHEM - It is with profound sadness and truly broken hearts that the family of Lori F. (Galvin)
Lubak share the tragic news of her unexpected passing on Monday, December 15, 2025 at home. She was the widow of William Lubak.Lori was born on July 4, 1962 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Nancy (Smith)Galvin.

Lori was a proud graduate of Crosby High School. She was a compassionate caregiver whose dedicated work at Southbury Training School touched the lives of countless individuals with special needs. Her kindness and unwavering support exemplified her deep commitment to making a differencein the lives of others. Lori found peace and fulfillment in nature. She found tranquility in birdwatching, particularly the graceful bluebirds that visited her yard. Her love for the outdoors was matched only by her passionfor gardening, where she nurtured vibrant flowers that mirrored her warmth and vitality. She foundimmense joy in simple pleasures, spending time with friends and family, enjoying seafood, and playing solitaire on her tablet. As we gather to celebrate her life, let us remember the beauty she found in the simple things and the love she shared so freely. May her memory be a guiding light, inspiring us all toembrace the joy of life and the wonder of nature, just as she did.

Left to honor her memory and cherish her legacy are her son, Bill Chan and his husband, Anson, ofGibsons, BC, Canada; her daughter, Ashley Salisbury and her husband, Connor, of Schenectady, NY;her sisters, Nancy Galvin of Waterbury, Karla Carey of Watertown, Heidi Dippelhofer of Waterbury, and her brother, Jason Bouchard of Plymouth. She also leaves her grandson, Jasper Salisbury, and herfur baby, Charlie. In addition, she leaves many nieces and nephews, as well as other extended family members and friends, who will carry forward her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness.
