Obituary

WATERBURY — It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Linda Lee (Baisley) Pagan, age 81, announces her passing into the arms of God on October 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and many dear ones. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Linda leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, generosity, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Linda was born on August 12, 1945, to the late Lawrence and Leola Baisley. Raised in Danbury, Connecticut, she graduated from Danbury High School and later made her home in Waterbury with her beloved husband, Louis E. Pagan. Together, they shared a remarkable love story spanning 44 years, including 42 years of marriage. The two were inseparable, and their bond was a beautiful reflection of the love and companionship they shared. Fittingly, Linda and Louie first met over a game of tic-tac-toe, a memory that would forever be part of their special story. After 45 years of dedicated work in the food service industry, Linda retired in 2025, having devoted much of her life to her career and the people she encountered along the way.

Above all else, Linda's greatest joy was her family. She treasured every opportunity to spend time with her loved ones, whether playing games, working on puzzles, dancing, or simply enjoying each other's company. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a gift for making people laugh and bringing smiles to their faces. Outgoing, generous, and always ready to lend a helping hand, Linda had a heart that knew no limits when it came to caring for others. She was truly the life of the party, bringing warmth, happiness, and a special kind of light wherever she went. Her kindness and giving spirit touched countless lives, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Though Linda's passing leaves an immeasurable void, there is comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her beloved daughter, Kimberly Ann Salmon, who predeceased her on April 15, 2022.

Left to honor and cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Louis E. Pagan; her children and their families, Jennifer Scozzafava, Sean Scozzafava and his wife, Victoria, and Scott Scozzafava and his wife, Elizabeth; her sister, Cathy Moore; her brother, David Baisley, and his wife, Sharon; her six cherished grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. Linda's family was the center of her world, and the love she gave so freely will continue to be treasured for generations to come.

A Celebration of Life honoring Linda will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at King Street United Church of Christ, 201 South King Street, Danbury, Connecticut. A shuttle will be provided to and from King Street School, located just down the road, should parking at the church become full. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Linda's life, share memories, and honor the beautiful legacy of love, laughter, and kindness she leaves behind. Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care 1987 East Main St Waterbury CT has been honored to care for Linda and support her family and friends during this difficult time.
