Leonard S. Osowski ?" age 90 formerly of 2221 East main Street died November 14th, 2007 after an extended illness at the Marathon Health Care center of Waterbury. He was the widower of Nell (Melko) Osowski.
Mr. Osowski was born November 14th, 1917 in Waterbury Ct the son of the late Stanley and Josephine Osowski, He attended local schools and worked as a meet cutter in the former Fulton Grocery Store and later for many years at Johnnies Meat Market in Waterbury.
Among his survivors are a son Leonard S. Osowski Jr. of Watertown, a sister-in law Amelia Osowski of Fairfield, two grandchildren Leonard D. Osowski, and Lori Ann Dvorak both of Waterbury
A Mass of Christian burial for Mr. Osowski will be held on Monday November 19th, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, There are no calling hours. The Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral home 1581 E. Main St Waterbury has been entrusted with the arrangements.
