THE CASEY FAMILY IS PRIVILEGED TO REMEMBER AND HONOR THE LIFE OF LAMBERT "MIKE" O'NEILL

Retired from Airpax Manufacturing

PLANTSVILLE - Mr. Lambert "Mike" O'Neill age 91 of Plantsville, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 1st 2022 at the Summit of Plantsville after an extended illness. He was the beloved husband of Carole (Morin) O'Neill.

Mike was born on December 30th 1930 in Waterbury CT, the son of the late Frank and Grace (Steele) O'Neill. Mike spent many years working at Airpax as a Screw Machine Operator until his retirement. After retiring, Mike spent several years working for local funeral homes as a funeral assistant. Mike was an avid sports fan and was a supporter of the Boston RedSox, NY Giants, and UCONN Women's basketball team. He enjoyed bowling and doing crossword puzzles and he was meticulous about his yard and gardening. Mike was a long-time member of Saint Aloysius Church in Plantsville where he served as a Eucharistic Minister for many years.

Left to cherish his memory and honor his legacy, besides his wife, Carole of 62 years, he leaves his children; James O'Neill of Bloomington, MN, William O'Neill of Plantsville, Elizabeth Uljua of Melbourne, FL & Martha's Vineyard, MA and Patricia Amell of Holly Hill FL. He also leaves several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sons; Michael and Robert O'Neill and his brothers; Francis, Robert and Walter O'Neill.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 7th 2022 at10:30am at St. Saint Aloysius Church 254 Burritt St Plantsville, CT. Those planning to attend are asked to meet directly at the church. Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services 1987 East Main Street Waterbury, has been honored to care for and assist Lambert and the O'Neill family during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution in Mike's memory can be made to the Summit of Plantsville Recreation Center at 261 Summit St, Plantsville, CT 06479.
