WATERBURY- It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that the family of Lacie Darnell Webb Jr., age 43, of Waterbury, shares the news of his unexpected passing on Wednesday May 6th 2026 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the husband of Sandra (Mucciacciaro) Webb.

Lacie was born on July 7, 1982 in Waterbury, CT the son of Lacie D. Webb Sr., and Joann Weathers. Lacie was a graduate of Kennedy high school,Top of Form

and was a shining light to all who knew him. He brought joy to our lives with his infectious spirit, playful rhymes, and creativity, often crafting personal raps that celebrated his family and friends, reminding us all to find joy in the little moments. As a employee at the Courtyard Marriott in Waterbury for the past 12 years, Lacie approached life with a gentle heart and an unwavering commitment to ensuring others were taken care of. Lacie shared a 12 ½-year marriage with his wife, Sandra Webb, with whom he had built a loving partnership over an incredible 24 years. Together, they created a home filled with laughter, love, and music—truly a place where everyone felt welcome. Lacie’s greatest treasure was his precious daughter, Vanessa. Nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with her, showering her with love, wisdom, and encouragement as he watched her grow.

Let us gather to remember, to laugh, to cry, and to keep alive the melodies that Lacie shared with us. Although he may no longer walk among us, his spirit will forever resonate in our hearts, reminding us to cherish every moment and to celebrate love in all its forms. Rest easy, dear Lacie. Your light will never fade. Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory are his father, Lacie D. Webb Sr.; and his mother, Joann Weathers in addition to his wife Sandra, daughter Vanessa, and brother Jamal Webb, his mother in law Lina Mucciacciaro, brother in law Roberto and his wife Katie Mucciacciaro, and a sister in law Teresa Mucciacciaro. He also leaves his 4 nieces and 1 nephew as well as other extended family members and many friends.

A memorial service for Mr. Webb will be held on Thursday May 14th at 11:00am at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1987 East Main St Waterbury, CT 06705 relatives and friends may visit with Lacie’s family at the funeral home from 10:00am until the time of the service at 11:00.
