WATERBURY - Kimberly Nicole Madera, age 36 years, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 1st, 2024, at Saint Mary’s Hospital, after a courageous battle against cancer.
Kim was born October 14th, 1987, in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of Robert Blow and Blanca (Madera) Rosler. She graduated from Crosby High School and earned her CNA certificate from Synergy Heath Care where she had been working as a CNA Hospice care worker for the past several years. Kimberly had a passion for music and loved Selena and also enjoyed singing and dancing and was very proud of her Latin heritage. Kimberly loved seafood and enjoyed cooking her favorite meals for her family. Ther was nothing more important to Kimberly than her family and was always happiest while spending time with them. She will be remembered as always living life to the fullest, having a good time and being the life of the party. She will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Left to honor her memory and cherish her legacy, besides her parents, are her sons; Cyaire Madera and Cyan Madera, daughters; Giovanna Madera and Aanya Boyken as well as her brother, Robert Madera and sisters; Sasha Madera, Sharita Brooks, Hubbard Porsche Famiglietti, Lexus Famiglietti, Destiny Lymas and Shakira Lymas.
Funeral services for Mrs. Madera will be held on Saturday, March 9th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Zion Baptist Church, 137 Pearl St, Waterbury, CT 06704. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery.
