WATERBURY- It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Mr. Juan Array, age 64, of Waterbury, shares the news of his passing on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at St Mary’s Hospital, surrounded by the love and prayer of his family.

Juan was born in Penuelas, Puerto Rico, on December 30, 1961, the son of the late Antonio Array and Rosario Camacho Gonzalez. Juan was a true social butterfly—a vibrant soul who was universally adored for his winning smile and infectious spirit. He was known as the life of every party, infusing gatherings with warmth and laughter. Juan had a profound love for salsa music, and he could often be found dancing through life with a passion that inspired those around him. He approached each day with humor and a steadfast optimism that inspired both friends and family alike. His love for life and unwavering positivity cultivated a welcoming atmosphere, making him a cherished confidant and friend to many.

Left to cherish his memory and honor his legacy beside his mother, Rosario Camacho Gonzalez of Waterbury, are his beloved daughter, Nydia Elena Array of Puerto Rico, his siblings: Luis Array of Waterbury and Bethzaida Array of Puerto Rico, as well as his cherished grandson and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends. Juan was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Ediduvina Rodriguez.

Funeral services for Mr. Array will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. from Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main St, Waterbury, CT, to All Saints’ Todos los Santos Parish, The Shrine of Saint Anne, 515 S Main St, Waterbury, CT. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury. Relatives and friends may pay their respects and visit the Array family on Wednesday, January 21, from 8:00 – 9:30 am at the funeral home.
