WATERBURY — It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mr. Joseph Anthony Pena, age 61, says farewell for now, to our beloved husband, father, and brother, following his unexpected passing on Sunday, August 30, 2026. He was the loving husband of the late Linda Gereben.

Joseph was born on August 9, 1965, in Stratford, Connecticut, the beloved son of the late Robert B and Patricia(Laden) Pena. Joseph was employed as a dedicated ironworker who devoted much of his career to the trade. He took great pride in his work and in the dedication and craftsmanship that came with being an ironworker. Joseph will be lovingly remembered by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will remain in the hearts of those who loved him and will be cherished for years to come.

Left to honor his memory and cherish his legacy is his son, Joseph Patrick Pena, and his brother, John M Pena. Joseph was predeceased by his wife and life partner, Linda Gereben, as well as his parents, Robert and Patricia (Laden)Pena. Funeral services for Joseph will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
