CHESHIRE - James Francis "Redd" Delevieleuse age 61, of Cheshire, passed away unexpectedly on
Sunday, September 22, 2019 after sustaining injuries in an ATV accident.

Jim was born June 25, 1958 in Waterbury, CT the son of the late John Delevieleuse and Ann Marie
(Picard) Delevieleuse of Cheshire. Jim was a lifelong Cheshire resident and was educated in local
schools and proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marines and served tours Korea
and Grenada. Jim was a familiar face behind the counter at Blackies Hotdogs where he worked as a
cook and server his entire life. Jim was an avid outdoorsman and had a tremendous knowledge of
nature. He enjoyed fishing all year round and enjoyed camping and hiking. He was a longtime member
of the High Riders Snowmobile Club in Terryville where he made many lifelong friends. Jim will be
sadly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.

Left to cherish Jim's memory and honor his legacy besides his mother, Ann Marie are his brothers;
Steven Delevieleuse of Waterbury, Robert Delevieleuse of Cheshire, Gary Delevieleuse and his wife,
Kim of Waterbury and Kenneth Delevieleuse and his wife, Gina of Fort Meyer's FL. In addition he also
leaves a niece, Mina and a nephew, Nick and many close co-workers and numerous friends.

A Service of Remembrance for James will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019 from 6:00 till 8:00
p.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home, 1987 East Main Street @ Southmayd Road,
Waterbury. Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of his family. To leave a personal
