Loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother

WATERBURY – Jada A. Thompson, age 66, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and comfort of her family on Monday, August 20th, at Waterbury Hospital after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of George Thompson.

Jada was born January 3rd 1957 in Toledo, Ohio. the daughter of the late Armand and Margaret (Iorio) DeVincent. Jada grew up in the Waterbury area and was a graduate of Wilby High School and spent many years working at the Coyne Textile Company. Jada enjoyed creating crafts and attending craft shows throughout the area but was always happiest while spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory. besides her husband of 33 years, George are her son, Matthew Thompson and his wife, Cailee and their children; Adriana, Avery, and Gemini, her brother David, sister, Denise, Nephew Jack, sisters-in-law Joy and Judy as well as her mother-in-law, Joyce as well as other extended family and countless longtime friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Thompson will be held privately and at the convenience of her family. There are no calling hours.
