WATERBURY - J. Edward Wester, Jr. "Eddie Wester" passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 3, 2018 at the Vitas Innovative Care Unit of St. Marys Hospital after a short battle with cancer.
He was born on December 9, 1947 the son of the late James and Eleanor Wester. He graduated from Wolcott High School in 1965. He worked at Scovill Manufacturing and Statewide Painting Company. Eddie was also an amazing artist and enjoyed painting in his spare time. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him
Eddie is survived by his daughter, Sarah Fults and her husband, James and their children Jason and Aaron of Richmond, TX; Candi Carpenter of Katy, TX and Laura McDonald of Terryville, CT., his brother, John Wester and his wife, Sandra of FL; his sisters, Diane Gaugler and husband, Emil; Barbara Berglund and husband, Mark; Linda Cullen and husband, John; Christine Kelly and husband ,Jack all of Wolcott, CT; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his nieces Julie Marfia and Lisa Kelly.
Funeral services for Mr. Wester will be private and held at the convenience of his family. To honor Eddie's memory and in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his name to the charity of one's choice.
