WATERBURY- It is with profound sadness and extraordinarily heavy hearts that the family of Ismael Pacheco Sr., age 35, of Waterbury, shares the news of his tragic passing on November 22, 2025, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Bristol.

Ismael was born on March 10, 1990, in Mexico City, Mexico, the son of Rosa Duran and Jose Jesus Pacheco and spent his formative years in Naugatuck, Connecticut. He was a proud graduate of Naugatuck High School and furthered his education at the Hartford Job Corps, embodying a strong work ethic and determination. Ismael devoted his professional life to the craft of tool making and was employed at Point Lighting Corporation in Bloomfield, contributing to the manufacturing industry with skill and passion. He was not just a dedicated employee but a cherished friend and colleague, known for his unwavering support and camaraderie. Above all else, Ismael was a loving father, son, and brother. He found joy in playing video games, often sharing those moments with his sons, creating lasting memories that will forever be cherished by his family. He was a compassionate soul, always ready to lend a helping hand and offer a listening ear, making a profound impact on the lives of those around him. His legacy will live on through his family and friends, who will remember his kindness, laughter, and devotion to those he loved.

Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory, besides his parents and Augustine Solorzano are his son, Ivan Pacheco of Waterbury and his brothers; Omar Pacheco and his wife, Carmen of Orlando FL, David Pesantez and his wife, Annalise of Waterbury, Daniel Pesantez of Torrington and his sister, Gabriell Solorzano of NJ. Ismael’s son, Ismael Pacheco Jr, tragically passed away in the same accident.
