Mr. Howard Starks Jr.

Waterbury – Mr. Howard Starks, age 86, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully at Waterbury Hospital on October 27, 2022, following a brief illness.

Howard was born in New Orleans, LA, on October 18, 1936, to Howard Sr. and Bertha Jane (Smith) Starks. While making his way north to Waterbury, he was a jack of all trades. Howard was a U.S. Army Veteran and served during the Korean conflict. Howard was the owner and operator of Howard’s Café in Waterbury for several years. He was also a delivery driver for Corey’s Artistic Fruit Baskets.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory are his brother, Joseph, and Joseph’s family as well as many friends.

According to his wishes, there will be no calling hours. Arrangements for a memorial service will be made at a later date.
