WATERBURY – It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mr. Heriberto Olivero Jr, age 37, of Waterbury, say farewell for now, to our beloved father, son, and brother following his unexpected passing on Friday, July 24, 2026, at home.

Heriberto was born on October 25, 1988, in Waterbury, Connecticut, the son of Heriberto Olivero Sr., and Elizabeth Adames. He was a lifelong resident of Waterbury, where he was not just a talented chef who brought joy to many with his culinary skills, but he also had a passion for painting and a love for working on cars. He was a proud and devoted father to his children, who were the light of his life. Family meant everything to Heriberto, and he cherished the moments spent with his loved ones, especially during family gatherings. A true enthusiast of the Dallas Cowboys, Heriberto was the life of any celebration, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Besides his beloved parents, left to cherish and honor his memory are his devoted children: Jayden Olivero, Jayla Olivero and Christian Olivero and his siblings: Jessica Olivero, Yvette (Olivero) Connor, Vanessa Olivero, Erica Olivero and Christian Martell. He also leaves behind his fiancé Angelina Vargas and his cousins: Alex Cintron, Jose Olivero, Felix Cintron, Michelle Cintron, Yanette Gonzalez, Jacqueline Olivero, and many other cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other extended family members and beloved friends. He was predeceased by his beloved grandmother, Francisca Olivero.

Funeral services for Mr. Olivero will be held privately at the convenience of his family. In this time of reflection, the family welcomes all who knew and loved Heriberto to share messages of condolence, comfort, and cherished memories.
