Mrs. Helen Kaiser

January 3, 1928 — November 11, 2023

OAKVILLE - Helen Kaiser, age 95, passed away peacefully at home in Oakville, CT on November 11, 2023. Helen was born on January 3, 1928 to Mary (Dudek) and Evdokim “Edward” Yashenko.

Helen leaves her two sons, Robert Kaiser and his wife Cheryl, Kenneth Kaiser and his wife Debbie, five grandchildren; Katie, Jamie, Matthew, Jessalyn, and Kenna, along with five great-grandchildren; McKenzie, Callie, Willy, Mason, and Bradley.

Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward Kaiser. Helen’s family takes great comfort in knowing that they are reunited. Helen and Ed created a beautiful life together, building their lifelong home on the same farmland where Helen grew up. They spent their years together traveling, camping, and spending most of their time visiting with family and close friends.

Helen knew her way around the kitchen and could often be found cooking a delicious meal or baking a pie for everyone to enjoy. She worked in the Polk School cafeteria for over 25 years.

Helen was caring and compassionate to all animals, and will be especially missed by her loving dog and closest companion, Izzi. One of her favorite pastimes was watching the birds enjoy her birdfeeder through the kitchen window.

She enjoyed caring for her husband, children, and pets, along with gardening, sitting outside or on their porch in the sun, and reading.

All services for Mrs Kaiser will be held privately, at the convenience of her family.
