WATERBURY- It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that the family of Heinz Dippelhofer, age 53, of Waterbury, share the news of his unexpected passing on Monday, September 8, 2025, at home.
Heinz was born on December 27, 1971, in Waterbury, Connecticut, the son of the late Karl Heinz Dippelhofer and Nancy (Smith) Dippelhofer Bouchard. He was a graduate of Watertown High School and then went on to pursue a certificate in Mechanics from Porter and Chester. Following his graduation, he worked for 30 years as a skillful and talented mechanic at Monroe Muffler and then All Car Care. Heinz found great joy in the outdoors-whether camping under the stars, spending peaceful days on the water, or gathering with loved ones at family picnics. He will be deeply missed by all those who were blessed to love and know him.
Left to honor and cherish his memory is his daughter Hailey Dippelhofer Galvin, siblings; Nancy Galvin, Lori Lubak, Karla (Richard) Carey, Heidi Dippelhofler, Jason Bouchard, and Barbara Hurley, Heinz also leaves behind his partner of many years Tammy Nadeau, along with several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his two brothers, Karl Heinz Dippelhofler and Reiner Dippelhofler.
Services for Heinz will be held privately at the convenience of his family.
