Our beloved mother Geraldine Gwendolyn Weaver, 83 years old, has passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Geraldine was born in Waterbury on November 29, 1941. She attended the Waterbury public school system. Geraldine worked at Waterbury Hospital, HDI and the United States Postal Service. She also became a Foster Grandparent for New Opportunities Inc. Geraldine “Gerry” loved to draw, paint and knit. She was an avid book reader and known to walk everywhere. Geraldine was a kind, loving person who loved to dress up. She was a fashionista. Geraldine was a faithful and long time Jehovah’s Witness who loved learning about Jehovah and the Bible. Above all, Gerry loved and cherished time spent with her children.

Left to cherish her love and memories are daughters Michele, Alexis, Kimberly (Nigel) Nelson of Wolcott, CT and Sheila. Grandchildren Brandon, Chantel, Ricky, Aliyah, Brennin, DaJour, Innis and Nya. Her five great grandchildren including Malahzia and Maekhi. Her loving niece Denise Patterson who she had a special relationship with along with her brother and sister.

Geraldine was predeceased by her son Damien Dante’. Parents Fragher and Geneva Knight and sisters Gloria Patterson and Shirley Knight.

Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
