REMEMBERING AND HONORING THE LIFE OF GEORGIANA BURDETTE
Middlebury, CT, Georgiana B. (Phelan) Burdette, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family at home on April 19, 2022.
Georgiana was born in Waterbury, CT on January 23, 1939 to the late George and Agnes Phelan.
To cherish her memory, Georgiana leaves behind her beloved husband Charles J. Burdette, her adored children Dawn Walker (Todd), Cheryl Zyko (Roy), Robin Burdette Hodgson (Thomas), her 6 grandchildren Crystal Walker, Todd C. Walker (Laura), Brooke Zyko, Roy C. Zyko, Charlie Hodgson and Aiden Hodgson.
She lived her life to the fullest, enjoyed time with family, especially holidays and family vacations. In addition to her parents, Georgiana was predeceased by her brothers and sisters Barth, Sheila, Richard, Linda and grandchild Jordan Zyko.
The immediate family would especially like to thank all family and friends who provided love and support during her time of need. We would also like to thank the staff at Harold Leever Cancer Center and VITAS Hospice at Home caregivers.
At the request of Georgiana, no service will be held. Her wishes were to be cremated. Celebration of life forthcoming. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Harold Leever Cancer Center http://leevercancercenter.org or VITAS Home HealthCare https://www.vitas.com .
