WATERTOWN- It is with profound sadness that the family of Frank H. Brickett, age 91, of Watertown, shares the news of his peaceful passing on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the widower of Barbara (Girard) Brickett.
Frank was born on March 9, 1934, in Waterbury, Connecticut, the son of the late Charles Brickett and Margaret (Demand) Brickett. He was one of 10 children and grew up in Watertown, where he cherished countless memories with family and friends. As a proud father, his love and dedication to his family was the focus and center of his life. He worked tirelessly as a truck driver for various companies throughout Connecticut, often being away during the week but always returning home on weekends to spend quality time with his family. In addition to his career in transportation, he later moved to Florida, where he continued as a maintenance worker. He was not only skilled in his work but also enjoyed lending a helping hand to those in need, especially when it came to handy work around the home.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, may he rest in peace, forever remembered in our hearts.
Left to honor his legacy and memory are his children, Toni Pietro and her husband Scott Sr., of Watertown, Kelli Brickett of Waterbury and Brett Brickett and his wife Judy of Thomaston, his grandchildren; Scott Pietro Jr and his wife Kelly of Monroe, Peter Pietro and his wife Tandy of Middlebury, Heather Vazquez and her husband Edwin II of Oakville, Richard Nearing Jr and his wife Crystal of Plymouth, Kris Nearing and his wife Candace of Plymouth, William F. Vail and his wife Amelia of Waterbury and Michele Vail. He also leaves behind several great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Barbara of 60 loving years and his daughter, Vicki Brickett.
Funeral services for Mr. Brickett will be held privately at the convenience of his family.
