SOUTHBURY - Francis Janus age 78, of Southbury passed away peacefully at Saint Mary's Hospital after an extended illness on August 5th 2021.
Francis was born September 11th 1942 in Waterbury, CT, the son of the late Frank and Marion (Stahura) Janus and was living under the care of his brother, Gerald in Southbury until his passing.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory, besides his brother, Gerald is his brother, John and his wife, Mary of Thomaston, his nephews; Eric of Thomaston and John and his wife, Barbara as well as his great nephew John "Jackie" Edward of Bristol.
Funeral services for Mr. Janus will be held privately and at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers or donations Francis's family asks people to offer an act of kindness for someone.
